I have decided to post a copy of the paper/presentation on “Internetwork Ecology” that I gave on Friday the 29th of Septemeber @ the AoIR2006 conference.
Originally it was just an xhtml slideshow presentation done with the S5 layout thing, and a bunch of notes that I made to fall back on, if I felt stuck for something to talk about (I know it was a 15 minute talk, but you never know). So today I merged my presentation with my notes to make a pseudo-academic paper of sorts. It made them both a bit easier to read.
If you found your way here via the AoIR2006 tag, there’s not much here I’m afraid, but if you are interested you can have a look at my paper if you want to.
This paper merely draws our attention to the fact that we should move beyond the metric of the “virtual community” towards something more inclusive, and perhaps my transition to the “internetworked individual” satisfies that.

Just in case I need to mention this (we’re all ethical researchers here, right?), don’t forget that the stuff in this blog is out there under a Creative Commons license dealio. Have a good one! :D
